The man charged with attacking him is now facing a murder charge. Authorities said 26-year-old Snehal Srivastava fatally shot 56-year-old Kevin Doherty during an encounter at Jordan Pond on Aug. 28. Doherty, who had just walked his 6-year-old son to Coolidge Elementary School, called 911 just after 8:45 a.m. to report he was being attacked. Swampscott Investigates Swastika Graffiti: Police The discovery of a swastika graffiti'd on a sidewalk is prompting a police investigation, officials say. A swastika spray painted on a sidewalk was discovered discovered in the area of Redington Street and Forest Avenue in Swampscott on the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 6, Swampscott police say. Nearby the white painted swastika was a vehicle with a white line painted on its side.  The police department has alerted religious figures in the community.  Evidence was found at the scene that could help identify the perpetrator, and police are asking residents in the area to review home …

Boston Man's Illegible Graffiti Paints More Dangerous Picture A 22-year-old Boston man caught spray painting "gang" signs at an MBTA station earlier this week should have left his paint at home as it led to his arrest on much more serious charges.  Jeremiah Springer of Roxbury was spotted by someone allegedly tagging a wall at Copley Station on Thursday, Sept. 15, a little after 8 p.m., who told a nearby officer, transit police said.
