Disabled Woman ID'd As Person Killed In Sudbury Fire; 2 Others Taken To Hospital
Middlesex County authorities have identified the 74-year-old woman who was killed in a Wednesday, Feb. 21, fire in Sudbury. The blaze sent two others, including two men who tried to save her, to the hospital. Hema Shahani was killed in the early morning blaze on Goodman's Hill Road that began around 5 a.m., the Middlesex District Attorney said. An early morning three-alarm fire in Sudbury left one person dead and three others injured, authorities said. The fire began at a 9,200-square-foot home on Goodman's Hill Road around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, Sudbury fire officials said.
