Man Hospitalized After Single-Car Crash In Georgetown First responders attempted to save the life of a man who was seriously injured in an Essex County crash until paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, officials say. Cat Dies, 2 Injured In Georgetown 2-Alarm Fire That Displaced Family Of 3 An "aggressive" attack was needed to extinguish the fire that led to serious injuries and the death of a pet cat, officials say.  The fire broke out at a one-story ranch house in Georgetown shortly after noon on Wednesday, April 19, according to the Georgetown Fire Department.
