Murder Conviction: Lynn Man Found Guilty Of Aspiring Pilot's 2017 Shooting Death
A man from the North Shore was found guilty in connection with the shooting death of a 24-year-old aspiring pilot whose family immigrated to the United States from Iran, officials said.
Brian Brito, age 27, of Lynn, was conviction of the first-degree murder of Mohammedreza “Sina” Zangiband, 24, of Salem, on Friday, June 9, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports.

A 25-year-old Lawrence man who admitted to shooting three men and killing one struck a plea deal on Wednesday, May 31, and will spend up to 26 years in prison, authorities said.
Hector Baez was sentenced 18-to-20 years on a manslaughter charge, which will be followed by four to six years for a series of assault and battery and firearms charges, the Essex County District Attorney's Office.

Two people were arrested on gun charges relating to the house party turned shooting that resulted in an 18-year-old's death, officials say.
Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a house party at 5 Royal Street, Apartment 3 around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, and found six gunshot victims, according to Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker.
All six of the gunshot victims were transported to Lawrence General Hospital.
