'Funniest Person In World': 70-Year-Old Man Dies Near Wellesley College
A 70-year-old died while walking near Wellesley College on Wednesday morning, Dec. 27. Silas Logan was found unresponsive by officers who arrived at a slightly wooded area on Central Street near Weston Road shortly after 9 a.m., the Essex District Attorney’s Office told MassLive. A Northeast Regional Vocational High student just wanted something to eat when he walked into a Saugus Wendy's, but he left a hero. He recently got the citation to prove it. Sebastian Cadavid, who's in the Northeast's Dental Assisting Program, went to the restaurant with friends after the Agganis All-Star football game in Lynn on June 29. An 8-year-old girl found unresponsive at a Massachusetts beach was saved by CPR performed by bystanders. The incident took place in Berkshire County in Pittsfield around 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 24. A 12-year-old boy was flown to a hospital in Boston after he was pulled from the bottom of a pool, authorities said. In Essex County, Groveland Police and Fire crews in Newburyport responded to a report of a medical incident at a pool at a private recreational camp on Bare Hill Road just before 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10.
