'Collective Pain' Spreads Among UMass-Dartmouth After Freshman Student's Death
A student body is coming together to raise awareness after a 19-year-old University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth student was struck and killed by a car on campus last week. Frankie Petillo Jr. was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, April 6, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Petillo, of the Manahawkin, NJ, was a freshman Bioengineering student. Services Soar After Man Jumps To Death Off Boston University Campus Building
A university in Boston is offering extra support to students after a man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from one of the buildings on campus this week. The man leapt from the 26th floor study lounge at Boston University's Student Village II residence hall, located at 33 Harry Agganis Way, on Wednesday night, Feb. 13, BU Today reports. Tufts University Investigating Fifth Bomb Threat; No Evacuations Prompted
Tufts University received yet another bomb threat, bringing the total number of threats to plague the school to five within the past week. The latest email threat targeting six buildings, TUPD's headquarters and one athletic field came in around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, according to a Tweet from Tufts Daily.
