A Bridgewater woman landed a seven-figure jackpot in the Massachusetts State Lottery this week. Beverly Colton won the $1 million prize in the lottery's “$4,000,000 Platinum Jackpot,” a $10 scratch-off ticket. A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the gruesome death of a New Jersey native in Massachusetts, Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said.
