The mugshot was released for the Woodstown man accused of driving drunk, killing an NHL star and his brother. The Salem County Correctional Facility released the mugshot of 43-year-old Sean Higgins to Newsweek. Higgins was charged with two counts of death by auto in the Thursday, Aug. 29 crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. Johnny, 31, played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames. An NHL star and his brother from Salem County were killed by a suspected drunk driver one day before their sister's wedding, authorities said. Johnny Gaudreau of Carneys Point and Matthew Gaudreau of Pedricktown died on Thursday, Aug. 29, a state police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Voice. 70-Year-Old Somerville Cyclist Killed After Driver 'Doored' Him: Police
Somerville police identified the 70-year-old cyclist who died over the weekend after a parked driver opened his car door into the bike rider and caused him to crash. Stephen Conley of Somerville was riding his bike on the Broadway bike lane just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, when a Land Rover's driver-side door flew open right in front of him, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. Haverhill Photographer, 44, Critically Injured After Struck By Car
A 44-year-old Haverhill resident was flown to a Boston hospital in critical condition after they were struck by a car while riding their bike, authorities said. The bicyclist was struck by a 2016 Toyota Avalon at the intersection of Main and Merrimack Street around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, Haverhill Police said on Twitter.
