Apple has just released iOS 26.5.1, a targeted software update for select newer iPhone models. The update fixes a wired charging issue affecting iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models when the battery is nearly drained, according to Apple’s iOS 26 release notes. Apple’s security release page says iOS 26.5.1 is available for all iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air.
