Firefighter Hospitalized, 50 Displaced In Dracut 3-Alarm Fire A firefighter was injured when part of the ceiling of a 24-unit apartment fell while he fought a raging fire, officials say.  The fire at the apartment building, located at 200 Merrill Lane in Dracut, was reported around 9:14 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, according to the Dracut Fire Department. Heavy fire had broken out from a second-floor apartment towards the back of the building. Dracut firefighters and police evacuated all of the building's residents and rescued two cats.  Water hoses were brought in through the front and back of the building, but the fire raged up from the second floor …
