Police Investigating Triple Stabbing In Holbrook
Police in Holbrook are investigating a triple stabbing that happened early Saturday morning, July 13. Officers received a 911 call around 3:30 a.m. about the attack near 166 Longmeadow Drive, Holbrook police said. When they arrived, police found two men and one woman suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics rushed the victims to an area hospital for treatment. Authorities did not provide information on the severity of their wounds or updates on their conditions. Motorcyclist Killed In Groton Crash ID'd As 27-Year-Old Man
Police have identified the 27-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a head-on crash earlier this week in Groton. Cody Trudel, of Ayer, died after his bike was struck head-on along Boston Road just after 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. Investigators believe the driver of an oncoming car in the westbound lane veered into his lane. The 20-year-old Townsend driver of that car remained at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash. No charges had been filed as of Friday afternoon.

A 56-year-old Lynn man who admitted to sexually exploiting minors in Laos, where he worked as an English teacher and ran a help organization, will spend more than a decade in federal prison, authorities said. Firefighters say the blaze that killed a man in his 60s on Wednesday, July 10, began with a lit cigarette in the man's bedroom at his Hyannis home. Neighbors called firefighters to the Oakland Road house just before 5:30 a.m. when they saw smoke billowing out of the one-story home. Crews arrived to find the home fully involved. A 33-year-old Cape Cod level-three sex offender who was convicted last year on multiple charges including indecent assault on a minor and child porn now faces more charges, authorities said.
