Woman ID'd As Victim Hit, Killed In Weymouth Crash Woman ID'd As Victim Hit, Killed In Weymouth Crash
Woman ID'd As Victim Hit, Killed In Weymouth Crash Police identified a 78-year-old woman as the victim in a pedestrian versus car crash in Weymouth earlier this week.  Harjit Thakral, of Weymouth, was hit by an SUV as she walked in the 300 block of Washington Street on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office said.  Paramedics took Thakral to South Shore Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead at 1:40 p.m.  The SUV's driver remained at the scene and worked with investigators, the prosecutor's office said. No charges have been filed.  The crash remains under investigation.

78-Year-Old Man ID'd As Pedestrian Killed In Wakefield Crash 78-Year-Old Man ID'd As Pedestrian Killed In Wakefield Crash
78-Year-Old Man ID'd As Pedestrian Killed In Wakefield Crash Police have identified the 78-year-old man who was hit and killed by a car pulling out of a driveway in Wakefield earlier this week.  Joseph Dow, 78, of Wakefield, was hit on Wednesday, Aug. 21, by a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E along Water Street, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.  Paramedics rushed Dow to  Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.  The driver, a 38-year-old woman, remained at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.

Mass. 7-Year-Old Only Feet Away As Parents Killed Crossing Road On Vacation; Victims ID'd A 7-year-old Middlesex County girl was only feet away from her parents as they were killed crossing a road in Lakeland, Florida, authorities said.  Ronald Jeanbaptiste, 54, and Yanique Pierre, 46, both of Everett, were struck along Imperial Boulevard as they attempted to cross. The Toyota Yaris that hit them had a green line, Lakeland Police said, but the investigation remains ongoing.  No charges have been filed.  The child was not injured and was placed in the care of family members.
