1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Shooting Near Lowell Temple Police say one person is dead and two more were injured in an early morning shooting in a Hindu temple's parking lot in Lowell.  Officers were called to the Middlesex Street parking lot just after 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, to find the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  A 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 34-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
