Middleborough Man Dies After Firefighters Pull Him From Burning Home
A Middleborough man has died days after firefighters pulled him from his burning home earlier this week. Nathaniel Williams, 67, succumbed to injuries sustained in the Monday, Dec. 2 blaze, according to Middleborough Fire Chief Owen Thompson. The fire broke out at the two-story home on Locust Street around 9:15 p.m. Firefighters arrived six minutes after the 911 call to find the first floor engulfed in flames. 3 Homemade Bombs Found In Worcester; Police Warn Of Unattended Items
Worcester police say they have located three explosive devices throughout the city since they found the remnants of a small explosion last month. Police learned of the explosion on Wednesday, June 19, at 185 Madison St. They found fireworks, a butane gas can, and projectile materials at the scene, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.
