Police had evacuated the area for hours as they searched for more explosives.  Original: A state police bomb squad destroyed an explosive device at a Haverhill home on Friday, June 28.  Police were called to 5 Rosebud Ave. around 8 a.m. to investigate reports that someone found an incendiary device.
