Newly Minted Millionaire: Billerica Man Claims Massive Win On $10 Ticket
A Billerica man who recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery said he plans to invest that money. Mark Aucoin won the seven-figure windfall by playing the $10 scratch-off ticket “$2,000,000 50X Cashword." Related: $15.4 Million Lottery Ticket Given As A Birthday Gift Aucoin chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity. He bought the winning ticket at the Gulf gas station at 349 Great Rd. in Bedford. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
