Newly Minted Millionaire: $1M Ticket Sold In Feeding Hills A $50 lottery ticket paid off 20,000 fold to one lucky Bay Stater when they won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery. The winner created a trust called the Feeding Hills Trust of Quincy to collect the prize and protect their identity.  The winning scratch-off ticket was from the "Billion Dollar Extravaganza" game. $2M Lottery Jackpot: Springfield Woman Lands Massive Payday A woman won $2 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery after picking up her ticket in Springfield.  Vera Saykina, of Springfield, won the seven-figure sum playing the "Billion Dollar Extravaganza," a $50 scratch-off lottery ticket.  Related: Lowell Man Lands $25,000 A Year For Life She chose the lump sum payment of $1.3 million (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  Saykina bought the ticket at a Shell Mart gas station in Springfield. The store will get a $20,000 bonus for the sale.
