Peabody Man Seriously Injured In NH Snowmobile Crash A 57-year-old Massachusetts man was severely injured this week when he crashed a rented snowmobile he was on while riding a trail in New Hampshire.  The Peabody man was injured around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in Lincoln, New Hampshire, while riding among a tour group along the Primary Trail 156 at the Bog Pond Trail Junction, state wildlife officials said.  The rider suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.  The crash is under investigation.

Mass Man, 74, Injured Falling 15 Feet Down At New Hampshire State Park A 74-year-old Jamaica Plains man had to be rescued over the weekend after falling 15 feet from a mountain while hiking at a New Hampshire state park.  Antoniou Panagiotis was climbing down a trail when he lost his footing and fell about 15 feet on the Spellman Trail at Monadnock State Park, causing an injury to his upper body that prevented him from continuing the hike, according to New Hampshire Wildlife Officials.  His hiking mates called for help and rescuers reached them around 10:15 p.m. and provided first aid, warm clothing, headlamps, and help down the mountain.
