Pittsfield Woman Killed, Motorcyclist Husband Hurt In Crash With SUV In Charlemont A 72-year-old woman was killed and her 69-year-old husband was seriously injured after they were involved in a crash with an SUV in Franklin County, authorities said.  Sheila Rombeiro, of Pittsfield, was on the back of her husband's motorcycle when it was involved in a crash on Route 2 in Charlemont on Sunday, Sept. 1, around 5 p.m., Northwestern District Attorney said. Teen From Region Killed After Crashing Car Into Tree A 19-year-old Connecticut woman was killed over the weekend after she crashed into a tree in Hartford County, authorities announced. Tolland County resident Makayla Theriaque, of Vernon, was identified as the victim in a Sunday evening, Aug. 25, crash in Manchester, police said.  Officers were called to 233 Buckland Hills Drive for reports of a car crashing into a tree, Manchester police said.  Paramedics rushed Theriaque, who was behind the wheel, to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.  Manchester police are investigating the crash. Child Found Dead In Pool Of Home In Region A boy who was found unresponsive in the pool of a Connecticut home has died. The incident occurred in Litchfield County around noon on Tuesday, Aug. 20, on Magnolia Lane in the Terryville section of Plymouth. According to Edman Austin of the Plymouth Police, police, fire, and EMS found the child unresponsive in the pool and immediately began treatment. The boy, whose age was not provided, was transported to Bristol Hospital for treatment. Western Mass Man Killed In Ware Crash ID'd Authorities have identified the 21-year-old who died in a Hampshire County crash earlier this week as a 21-year-old Ware man.  Joseph J. Lynch, of Monson, died on Sunday, June 23, after being involved in a crash on Route 9 near Anderson Road just before 6 p.m., the Northwestern District Attorney said. Another person in the vehicle was airlifted to UMass-Worcester with life-threatening injuries. 55-Year-Old ID'd As Man Killed In Plainfield Crash Authorities in Hampshire County say they have identified the man who died after his car went off the road and crashed over the weekend.  John Henry Burt, 55, crashed into the woods off Grant Street near North Street in Plainfield around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  Firefighters had to cut him from the vehicle. Paramedics rushed him to Berkshire Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead.  There were no other injuries.  The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
