Arctic Blast Will Usher In Stormy Stretch: Here's What's Coming A frigid air mass is headed to the Northeast and will linger for a prolonged stretch, setting the stage for multiple rounds of winter storms. According to AccuWeather Lead Long-Range Meteorologist Paul Pastelok, "Multiple waves of Arctic air are gathering over northern Canada, targeting the central and eastern United States in the weeks ahead."
