Fatal Crash: 21-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim On I-91 In Region A 21-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a crash on a stretch of I-91. It happened around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 in Windsor. A 2007 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling on the southbound Exit 35A off-ramp when it veered into the left shoulder and hit a metal guardrail, according to Connecticut State Police.  Both the operator, a 33-year-old Manchester man, and the passenger, identified as Valerie Ann Eaton of Hartford, were ejected from the motorcycle. 19-Year-Old Woman Accused Of Going 115 MPH In CT Charged With Reckless Driving A woman has been charged with reckless driving after being accused of driving 115 miles per hour on a busy Connecticut highway. At about 4:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, a Connecticut State Police trooper in Windham County assigned to Troop D in Danielson was conducting speed enforcement along I-395 southbound in the area of exit 50 in Thompson.  The trooper "observed a vehicle traveling southbound toward his location at a rate of speed clearly higher than the posted speed limit," said police. Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Authorities pronounced Murray dead at the scene.…
