30-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Springfield Shooting
Police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting earlier this month in Springfield. Aaron Cabrera, 30, of Ludlow, was shot around around 10 p.m. on May 21 in the 0-100 block of Fort Pleasant Avenue, Springfield police said. Police were alerted to the fatal shooting after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. They found Cabrera bleeding from a wound, and paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said. Investigators are still searching for the shooter. Double-Fatal Crash: Man, Woman ID'd As Victims After Tractor-Trailer Rolls Over On NY Thruway
Two people were killed in a crash involving a rolled-over tractor-trailer on the New York State Thruway. The crash happened around 8 a.m. Thursday, May 23 in Albany. State Police say an investigation determined that the northbound tractor-trailer struck the concrete barrier separating northbound from southbound traffic. The collision caused the tractor-trailer to overturn onto a northbound passenger vehicle. Legendary Mass Rocker Dead At 56
Jon Wysocki, a founding member and former drummer of the band Staind died over the weekend at 56. The Massachusetts native was born in Hampden County, where he would later meet the other members of the five-times-platinum group. He died on Saturday, March 18, due to complications with his liver, Variety reported. The band announced his death on social media.
