Police ID 41-Year-Old Woman Killed In Head-On Wilmington Crash Authorities have identified the woman who died earlier this week after her car crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle in Wilmington. Erica Mastropietro, 41, was driving a Lexus eastbound on Route 62 just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, when, for unknown reasons, her car veered into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. CT State Troopers Smash Allegedly Drunk Driver’s Window Connecticut State Police had to smash a window and use a taser on a 24-year-old man before charging him with alleged drunk driving.  The incident occurred in Middlesex County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on 1-91 northbound in Middletown between the rest area and Exit 20.  According to State Police, troopers found a black GMC Sierra pickup with a Massachusetts license plate parked in the right climbing lane and several damaged DOT traffic cones.  The truck's engine was running, and the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, state police said.
