First responders responded to the crash on Storrow Drive at the BU Bridge around 2 a.m., Massachusetts State Police said.

Upon arrival, crews found the driver of the trailer, a 67-year-old Mattapoisett man, alert and walking around the vehicle.

The tractor, a 2018 Freightliner M2106, was carrying boxed sprouts that were spilled all over the road. The incident closed the eastbound side of Storrow Drive for cleanup, MassDOT said on Twitter

Traffic heading into the city was still closed as of 7 a.m., NBC Boston reports. The truck appeared to have "Storrowed" as it hit the low clearance bridge, the outlet continues.

Cleanup was expected to continue throughout the rest of the morning as hazmat teams responded to a fuel spill, Massachusetts State Police said.

The road was eventually opened shortly after 11 a.m. No injuries were reported and the crash is under investigation.
