MIT Grad Students Save Dog Dumped From Car Stolen By Teenager In Cambridge: Police A car thief stole a BMW with a dog still inside the vehicle, but their plot to rid themselves of the bystander canine were foiled by a group of MIT graduate students, officials say. The graduate students saw the BMW dump a dog out of the vehicle around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 at the intersection of Wadsworth and Amherst Streets, Cambridge police say.
