Man Found Dead Inside Crashed Car In Topsfield
A man was found dead inside a wrecked car in Essex County Thursday morning, Aug. 17, authorities said. Investigators believe the man was driving north on Boston Street (Route 1) in Topsfield when he crossed into the southbound lane. A bus driver found the wrecked car around 7:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said. A swarm of bees stung upwards of twenty children in Essex County, with one needing to be hospitalized after having a severe allergic reaction, officials say. Firefighters were on the scene in Gloucester where a 3-alarm brush fire broke out earlier Monday morning, Aug. 1, authorities said. The fire started in the area of Poles Hill and Riverview Road around 10:45 a.m., Gloucester Fire said.
