A 52-year-old Medford man was arraigned on Wednesday, June 12, after police said he stole more than $65,000 worth of Amazon purchased, many of which were used for his band Sloth Machine. A former US Postal Service employee who was convicted of stealing $90,000 will spend the next 18 months behind bars, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 11. Man Busted Stealing Library Donation Box in Tewksbury
A 26-year-old man has been arrested after police say he stole a donation box from the Tewksbury Public Library on Friday afternoon, Feb. 2. Anderson Phao, of Tewksbury, is charged with theft from a building, breaking into a depository, vandalizing property, and thief, common, and notorious, police said. Library staff noticed the theft around 4:30 p.m. and contacted Tewksbury police. Surveillance video shows the man carrying the donation box into the bathroom. A manager of the Harvard Medical School morgue is accused of stealing body parts from cadavers and selling them to several people across the country, federal investigators said. A 49-year-old former Boston police officer who was convicted last week of multiple charges was sentenced to prison on Tuesday, authorities said. Police out in Leicester have their hands and pockets full after arresting a man who stole $18,000 over the course of 21 days from their job, the department said.
