A police negotiator was able to talk a man who had barricaded himself inside a Middlesex County apartment Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, out of the home without bloodshed, authorities said. A Cohasset man is facing multiple charges for prompting a SWAT response after he broke into the town's police station with a chainsaw and endangered several children, authorities said.
