Asian Restaurant Closes 3 Locations In Somerville, Boston, Woburn: Report
Grainmaker, a popular chain of Asian restaurants has closed all of its locations, according to a new report.
Boston Restaurant Talk said they received a tip about the closures in Somerville's Davis Square, Downtown Crossing in Boston, and Woburn Village in Woburn on Monday, March 25.
Calls to the restaurants go unanswered, the social media accounts for each location have been removed, and the websites no longer exist.
Google and Yelp list all of the locations as permanently closed as well. It's unclear what led to the closings, or what day they shuttered. …

Seven pizzerias have been recognized as the best in Massachusetts at specializing in specific regional styles, according to a new report by The Washington Post.
The eateries are included in a database compiled by the Post that lists the best pizzerias in each state specializing in Detroit, Neapolitan, New Haven, New York, Roman, Sicilian, and Tavern-style pizza.

A Middlesex County single mother died unexpectedly recently, leaving her six children parentless. Now, one of her children is asking for the community's help.
Lynda M. Miller, of Somerville, died suddenly at her home on Saturday, July 22, at age 43, according to her obituary.
Miller enjoyed spending time at the beach and cheering on her children from the sidelines at their football and basketball games and cheerleading competitions.
"Above all, she put her family first and cherished time spent together," her obituary said.

Attempted Kidnapper, 18, Nabbed In Somerville 1 Week After Medford Attack: Police
A young man was arrested for the assault of a woman one week after the attack, officials say.
Nature Moncoeur, of Somerville, was arrested on the morning of Tuesday, July 11 after a week-long investigation into the attack of a woman in her 20s, according to the Medford Police Department.
The woman was attacked while going for a walk on Royall Street on Sunday, July 3 around 10:45 p.m.
Her assailant followed her and then attacked, hitting her multiple times.
