Central Massachusetts Woman Injured In Daytime Knife Attack By Familiar Duo Two women were arrested after attacking and injuring another woman, who authorities said they knew, with a knife in Central Massachusetts.  Police responded to a report of an assault at 18 Julio Drive in Shrewsbury around 12:13 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, Shrewsbury Police said on Facebook.  Upon arrival, officers learned two other women attacked the victim with a knife and physically assaulted her. 30-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling From Bridge In Central Mass, Police Say A 30-year-old man has died after falling off the Burns Bridge in Shrewsbury, authorities said. An off-duty officer, who was on a boat in Lake Quinsigamond, called police about a male in the water near Belmont Street around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, Shrewsbury Police said.  Rescue crews recovered the man's body and was later taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim's name was not released. The investigation is ongoing.
