A sleeping resident was able to successfully escape a multi-alarm fire that decimated a renovated home on the South Shore this week, according to fire officials. Hanover Fire responded to a report of a fire at 479 Whiting Street around 1:53 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, the department said on Facebook. Fourth of July festivities are always fun, but when not handled properly they can be extremely dangerous. That was the reality for several people who were displaced after a 3-alarm fire was potentially ignited by leftover sparklers in Dracut, State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey said. Rowley Man Accidentally Sets Fireworks Off In His Apartment: Fire Officials
A Rowley man will be in court after accidentally lighting illegal fireworks inside his apartment last week, fire officials said. An alarm prompted fire crews to respond to the area of 870 Haverhill Street on the morning of Friday, June 10, Rowley Fire Chief James C. Broderick and State Fire Marshal Peter J.
