Owner Faces Charges After Leaving Puppy Inside Freezing Car In Quincy: Police
A puppy owner in Quincy thought it was a good idea to leave their pet in a freezing car, and they could now face charges, authorities said. The puppy was left attended in the locked car around 12:30 p.m. at the Quincy Adams station, according to transit police. The Quincy Fire Department arrived to help open the car door. It is unclear how long the puppy was trapped in the car. The temperature plummeted to around 27 degrees at the time the animal was found, according to Weather Underground. Quincy Man Set Raccoon On Fire In Backyard: Report
A Quincy man has been charged with animal cruelty after police said they saw him trying to burn a raccoon alive in his backyard, reports said. Andrew Chieu, 63, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 30, when Quincy police were called to his Royal Street home to break up a dispute between him and a neighbor, NBC Boston reported. Officers found a raccoon in a trap with severe burns and a fire burning in the backyard.
