Nationwide Recall: Charcuterie Trays Sold At Costco, Sam's Club Linked To Salmonella Outbreak The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has ordered a recall of two different charcuterie meat trays after they were linked to a salmonella outbreak. Forty-seven people across 22 states have gotten sick with salmonella after eating the potentially contaminated meats, which are sold at Costco and Sam’s Club locations across the country, the CDC announced on Thursday, Jan. 18. The recall includes spinach grown by BrightFarms's supplier, Element Farms, located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Brightfarms has temporarily suspended the distribution of any spinach grown at the farm due to the recall.
