Dave Portnoy Gets Nostalgic During The Brown Jug Review Dave Portnoy says he has a discerning eye for pizza, but when it came to a Chelsea pizzeria, he considered bending the rules because it reminded him of his childhood.  Portnoy, who grew up in Swampscott, recently reviewed The Brown Jug at 1014 Revere Beach Parkway, but his lasting impression wasn't about the pizza.
