Lovey Dog That 'Saved' Massachusetts Soldier's Life Needs Emergency Surgery A canine companion who has helped a Massachusetts solider in more ways than one is in need of an emergency surgery, according to an online fundraiser. Matthew Rizzo assumed ownership of Danger when his neighbor and US Army Captain got deployed for a whole year, according to a GoFundMe campaign created by Rizzo.  Rizzo, who would occasionally watch Danger, said he became "completely obsessed" with the pooch after taking him in for two weeks.
