Authorities arrested a Boston police school crossing guard earlier this week and charged him with raping a child. A Boston police officer somehow escaped injury after officials said a man shot him multiple times over the weekend while he sat in his car near an elementary school. Alberto Polanco, 20, of Roxbury, is charged in the alleged attack just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, the Boston Police Department said. Woman Suffered Life-Threatening Injuries In Boston Shooting: Report
A woman was in critical condition following a shooting in Boston Thursday afternoon, Sept. 1, authorities said. The shooting happened on Savin Street in Roxbury. Boston police say they have a person of interest in custody, but officials have not released any information on their identity, CBS Boston reported.
