A Lawrence man who was sharing a cell with another man is accused of supplying drugs that would eventually claim the 25-year-old's life while still in police custody, officials said. Javier Garcia, age 49, was sharing a cell with Christian Marte-Martinez at the Lawrence Police Department headquarters after he was arrested last weekend for disorderly conduct, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports.
