A 2-year-old who was found unresponsive at the Winthrop home of a police lieutenant facing child rape and indecent assault charges has died, officials said. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of the toddler’s death, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. Update: Winthrop Police Lieutenant James Feeley appeared in East Boston BMC on child rape and other related charges, the Suffolk District Attorney said on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
