Mass. 7-Year-Old Only Feet Away As Parents Killed Crossing Road On Vacation; Victims ID'd
A 7-year-old Middlesex County girl was only feet away from her parents as they were killed crossing a road in Lakeland, Florida, authorities said.
Ronald Jeanbaptiste, 54, and Yanique Pierre, 46, both of Everett, were struck along Imperial Boulevard as they attempted to cross. The Toyota Yaris that hit them had a green line, Lakeland Police said, but the investigation remains ongoing.
No charges have been filed.
The child was not injured and was placed in the care of family members.

Four people, including three minors, were nabbed in Everett after police found a gun, baseball bats, and bladed weapons in connection with an assault and robbery.

Dravon Robinson Guilty Of Beating Death Of Ricardo Garcia
A Suffolk County jury convicted a 39-year-old Everett man on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the vicious beating and stabbing death of a Boston man who was trying to protect his girlfriend, authorities said.
Dravon Robinson, age 39, is the third person convicted in the killing of Ricardo Garcia, 34, in August 2021, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Robinson was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

TGI Fridays is closing nearly 30 "underperforming" locations across the northeast and will sell eight restaurants to the chain's former CEO, the chain said in a news release.

Boston Man Guilty Of Killing Father Of 2 In 2021 Jury Rules: DA
A 51-year-old Boston man was convicted of first-degree murder on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the stabbing death of Ricardo Garcia, a father of two, in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston in 2021, authorities said.
Karonn Brown, of Mattapan, is one of three people charged in connection with the fatal stabbing, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Brown, Derrell Sanford, age 28, of Boston, and Dravon Robinson, age 38, of Everett, were all charged in the attack, the prosecutor said.

An Essex County family was devastated when its mother died in an act of "unmatched courage," but hundreds of supporters are doling out support in spades.
Melissa Bagley, a 44-year-old woman married to Everett police lieutenant Sean Bagley, died on Tuesday, Aug. 15, after she jumped into a fast-moving body of water at Franconia Falls in Lincoln, New Hampshire, to save her son, as reported by Daily Voice.
Her children survived, but despite her husband's attempts to save her using CPR, Bagley perished in the tragic event.

A 53-year-old man from Massachusetts was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash off a major highway in New Hampshire this week, according to authorities.
Officers responded to the crash on Blair Road at the Exit 27 off-ramp of I-93 in Campton shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, Campton Police said on Facebook.
