Alleged Drunk Driver Who Seriously Hurt Woman In South Boston Gets $5K Bond: DA A 46-year-old man accused of hospitalizing a woman after he drunkenly crashed into her as she crossed the street on Saturday, Oct. 28, was ordered held on a $5,000 bond, authorities said.  Jeffrey McArdle is charged with operating under the influence (second offense) and reckless operation of a motor vehicle, the Suffolk County District Attorney said.
