'An Inspiration To Many': Georgetown Coach Killed In Shooting Remembered As Mentor A loved family member and high school assistant football coach died tragically, leaving his family and community bereft.  Nelson Curet, an assistant football coach at Georgetown Highschool, died on Saturday, July 1, in a "tragic" incident, according to Georgetown Public Schools. “Nelson was an integral member of the Georgetown football family," said Georgetown High School Football Coach Mike Hill.
