Update: Possible Fetal Remains Found In South Boston Apartment Freezer

Authorities are investigating after a possible fetal remains were found in the freezer of a South Boston apartment, authorities said.

Police responded to a call at an apartment at 838 East Broadway around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, Boston Police report. The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and Medical Examiner were also called to the scene. 

It was later determined that investigators found possible fetus remains inside the apartment, police said. When investigators returned on Friday, it was determined that another set of remains was found, WCVB reports.

So far no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
