Kids As Young As 6 Found In Child Porn On Boston Man's Computer: Feds

A 23-year-old East Boston man faces potentially decades in prison after police say they found scores of videos featuring child porn with some victims as young as 6 years old.

Cristopher Vladimir Pineda Martinez faces one count each of possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. He was ordered detained until his next court hearing on February 3. 

Investigators said Pineda was a member of several private communities and online groups that discussed and traded child pornography. Last month, police said he shared six videos featuring the abuse of children in three chat groups. 

When police raided his home, they found 54 videos of child porn on Pineda's cell phone. 

Charges of possession and distribution of child porn each carry a potential 20-year prison sentence and $250,000 fines.
