After a brief hospital stay in Boston caused the singer to postpone his upcoming show in Charleston, SC, Buffett shared an update regarding his health on his Facebook.

"Thank you for the outpouring of support and well wishes," the post on Friday, May 19 read. "I head home tomorrow for a while, and then I will go for a fishing trip with old friends, along with paddling and sailing to get myself back in good shape."

The "Come Monday" singer said once he is feeling better, his team will reschedule the Charleston concert and announce dates for new shows.

"Once I am in shape, we will look at the when's and where's of shows," Buffett wrote. "Looking forward to announcing a new date for Charleston as well as some new shows! Fins up!"

Buffett was brought to a Boston hospital "to address some issues" after he returned from a trip to the Bahamas, he wrote in a Facebook post from the day before.

The incident caused him to cancel his concert at Credit One Stadium Saturday. All previously purchased tickets will be honored once a new date is announced.
