Man, 80, Killed In Early Morning Revere Fire An 80-year-old was killed early Monday morning, July 15, after a fire tore through his Revere home.  Firefighters were called to the 104 Patriot Parkway home at about 5:45 a.m. to find heavy smoke pouring out of the house. Crews were told the elderly man had limited mobility and was trapped inside, the state Fire Marshal's Office said.  Firefighters forced their way inside, pulled the man to safety, and began life-saving measures. Fire That Killed 1, Displaced 25 In Braintree Under Investigation Authorities are investigating what sparked an apartment fire Thursday night, May 23, that killed one person and displaced 25 others in Braintree.  Firefighters were called to 26 McCusker Drive just before 10:30 p.m. to find smoke pouring out of a first-floor apartment, the state Fire Marshal's Office said. Fire crews were able to contain the fire to that one unit.  The person inside was found dead.
