Food Sold At Big Y Linked To Nationwide Salmonella Outbreak, FDA Says Big Y Foods has recalled several types of sandwiches and wraps at more than two dozen stores as part of a nationwide salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers. The recall covers any small or large sub, 30-inch Super Sub, wrap, or panini made fresh at the deli counter, the Food and Drug Administration said. The sandwiches weren't prepackaged and were made on Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21. CT Biker Gang Member Charged With 2021 Murder Of Western Mass Man: Police A Connecticut man with ties to the Outlaws Motorcycle Club has been charged in connection with a 2021 homicide after authorities tracked him down in Haddam. Timothy Lange, 35, of New Britain, was arrested by Connecticut State Police detectives, along with state and federal law enforcement, after a lengthy investigation into the death of Jason Comes, 42, of Wilbraham, Massachusetts.  Comes was found dead inside a vehicle on a remote stretch of Durkee Road in Somers in Aug. 2021. Man Killed In 2-Car Crash In Western Mass A man was killed in a two-car crash Wednesday night in Wilbraham, authorities said.  The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Boston Road. One of the drivers was airlifted to Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, where they were pronounced dead, Wilbraham police said.  The man's name was not released.  Other people in the crash received serious injuries, but police did not release an update on their conditions Thursday.  Police closed the intersection for several hours as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the scene.
