WalletHub released its 2026 list of Best Cities for St. Patrick's Day Celebrations on Wednesday, March 11. The study ranked 200 US cities based on holiday traditions, Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, affordability, safety, accessibility, and even the weather forecast.

MA Public Building Ranked Among Ugliest In US, New Survey Finds
A national survey has named the "ugliest" public buildings in the US, and several from the Northeast landed high on the list.
The study, conducted by New Jersey realtor Rob Dekanski, focused on how residents view the design of civic buildings across the country. More than 3,000 people were surveyed in July, with results weighted by age, gender, and geography.
Courthouses and city halls dominated the rankings, with 18 Northeast locations ranked.

Chuck Mangione, Jazz Star, 'King Of The Hill' Recurring Guest, Dies
An iconic jazz musician has died in his upstate New York home, according to reports.
Chuck Mangione died on Tuesday, July 22, according to a family statement. The 84-year-old's death was first reported by the Democrat & Chronicle, a newspaper in his hometown of Rochester, NY.
Mangione's family said he "peacefully passed away in his sleep" at his Rochester home. He was most well-known for the song "Feels So Good," along with the 1977 album with the same name.

A beloved grocery chain from upstate New York has arrived in the Constitution State.
Wegmans officially opened its first Connecticut supermarket in Norwalk on Wednesday, July 23. The 92,000-square-foot store is located at 675 Connecticut Avenue, about a mile from exit 13 on Interstate 95.
The new Wegmans features signature offerings like fresh produce, seafood, bakery goods, a large selection of cheeses, and deli meats. It also offers made-to-order meals like sushi, sandwiches, pizza, and chef-prepared salads.
