Ex-Billerica Officer Charged With Raping Teen Girl, Child Porn: DA A 35-year-old former police officer was indicted on charges that he raped a 15-year-old girl that was known to him, authorities said.  Alexander Allen, 35, a former Billerica police officer, was charged with aggravated rape of a child with a 10-year age difference and possession of child pornography, the Middlesex District Attorney said on Wednesday, Oct. 9.  In 2023, Allen allegedly disclosed to a then-fellow officer that he'd had sex with a teenager, the prosecutor said. Driver Was On Phone When He Hit, Killed Woman In Bedford: DA A 34-year-old Billerica man is believed to have been on his phone when he crashed into a 53-year-old woman, killing her, authorities said.  The man, whose name was not released, hit the woman on Saturday, July 20, just after 3:30 p.m. as she walked her bicycle across Concord Street, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  Paramedics rushed the woman to Lahey Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, the prosecutor's office said. Newly Minted Millionaire: Billerica Man Claims Massive Win On $10 Ticket A Billerica man who recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery said he plans to invest that money.  Mark Aucoin won the seven-figure windfall by playing the $10 scratch-off ticket “$2,000,000 50X Cashword." Related: $15.4 Million Lottery Ticket Given As A Birthday Gift Aucoin chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  He bought the winning ticket at the Gulf gas station at 349 Great Rd. in Bedford. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
