Union Street Restaurant, located at 107R Union Street in Newton, will be closing at the end of May, according to an announcement on the restaurant's website.
"We hope to see you come and say goodbye in this month," the announcement reads. "Thank you for all your continued support and thanks for many, many memories."
Union Street was known for its comfort food classics and three floors of entertainment complete with two outdoor patios, two indoor function rooms and live music.
The space first opened in the late 1980s and went through different owners in the summer of 2017, Boston Restaurant Talk reports.
