Man Who Says Ben Affleck Played Him In Movie Busted Robbing Boston Bank: DA
A 59-year-old Rhode Island man who claims to have robbed more than 100 banks and says he was the inspiration for a Ben Affleck movie character was busted this week while trying to add to his heist tally. William Sequeira of Providence was arrested just after 3:30 on Wednesday, Oct. 5, after he tried to rob the Citizens Bank at 426 Boylston Street, Boston police said. Officers tackled him to the ground after he demanded cash from the teller, authorities continued. He is being held on a $50,000 bond, officials said.
